If the style you have chosen has a finial, attach it to the side of the bracket with screws provided in the finial.

Determine the position of the rod by laying the rod on the runner.
 The rod should extend past the sides of the runner by more than one half of an inch.
Some of our rods can be custom cut, you must know the width of your carpet runner
prior to purchasing the rods and adjust accordingly, as to where you want to install the bracket.

Position one bracket in the desired position and install using screws provided or other anchor appropriate for your type of stairs.

Place the end of the rod into the stalled bracket.

Place remaining bracket into the free end of rod and find exact position on the other side of the step.

Install remaining end bracket with screws provided and/or other anchors appropriate for your type of stairs.

Professional installation may also be used, if desired.

Periodically check and tighten all hardware.

To clean simply wipe with a dry cloth. Do not us any abrasives, chemicals or brass cleaners.
